Hi! I'm Jess Horwitch and I'm a Freshman at Kenyon College. I am a prospective English and Math double major. I currently serve as an editor for the Kenyon Review, a writer for Her Campus magazine, and a student council representative. I love to read, write, bike, bake cookies, and recite cheesy dad jokes. I've grown up tutoring my two younger sisters and have previously worked alongside teachers to develop study materials for advanced courses. During my senior year in high school I even mentored several incoming freshman and during the transition to remote learning I provided both academic and emotional support. As a student who is currently working remotely, I understand how daunting e-learning can be but I believe that a little encouragement, empathy, and determinism goes a long way!
