Born and raised in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Bay Area in August 2017 to continue my education at UC Berkeley. While in school, I worked full time in entertainment production as a stagehand for multiple venues around the Bay, which is when I decided I wanted to stay up here after graduating in May 2019 to continue my career in the arts and entertainment sector. Although I have been laid off due to Covid, I have been spending my time working on crafts and reading books, working out regularly, tending to my many plants, exploring nature safely, and of course, working creatively in the kitchen to master recipes.

As a recent graduate with younger siblings I feel a lot of compassion for those still in school. I know I am a very kinesthetic learner, and virtual learning would be incredibly difficult for me to succeed in. This is why I want to be available to help students of all ages; whether that be reading over essays and applications or helping younger students develop good learning habits and study skills. Before transferring to Cal, I previously attended Santa Barbara City College and University of Colorado, Boulder, so I am very familiar with transferring, community college, and the application process as I have been through it more than once. My strongest subjects are English, social sciences, and the arts! I also have formal education in Hebrew and Spanish; I am not fluent in either but I understand how to study foreign languages and can help there as well, it would be beneficial practice for both parties! I have a lot of childcare experience for all ages as well as younger siblings--who are now competent adults-- who I have helped get through school. My weakest subject throughout my journey in schooling has always specifically been in math, however this would only become an issue with high schoolers who are in higher level classes.
